The firm’s primary focus is on private client work with a particular emphasis on the sale, purchase and re-mortgage of residential property. We also have considerable experience in and knowledge of commercial and corporate law, family and matrimonial law, property factoring, asset management, trusts, wills and executry matters. The firm is constantly diversifying and is implacably committed to embracing and offering the complete range of legal services.
The two founding partners of the firm were Peter D Anderson and Stuart M Bain. They have extensive experience in all facets of private client work and have dealt first hand with the vagaries of the property market for over 25 years.

In its early years, the firm grew quickly and were fortunate to attract Robin J Leith and Calum I Bell, both of whom were experienced property solicitors at other prominent local firms.
The firm was subsequently joined by Kevin W Rattray, who had formerly set up and fronted another long-standing local firm. Kevin has vast experience in estate agency and private client matters and brought further depth and expertise to our estate agency division.
Scott Allan was promoted to partner status from within in 2011. More recently Faye Walker and Alison Jackson were promoted to partner status to consolidate the firm`s position as a leading private client solicitor in Scotland.
